Pupils Gain Hockey Honours

Friends’ pupils Kate Hamill, Amy Brown, Rachel Barnes and Cara McEwen met with Paul Givan MLA as he wished them well before embarking on the Inter-Provincial Competitions for the U16 and U18 Ulster Hockey squads.

Friends’ School pupil Rosie Henderson (pictured) was recently part of the Ulster U21 Inter-Provincial Hockey Squad who participated in the Inter-Pros in Dublin. The team defeated Connacht and Munster in their opening two matches but narrowly lost to Leinster 2-1 in the deciding game to finish 2nd overall.
