On Thursday evening the Friends’ School 1st XI defeated Sullivan in front of a packed crowd at Stormont, winning the Burney Cup for a record twentieth time.
Tennis Success for Year 8 Pupil Isabella Connor
Friends’ School Year 8 pupil Isabella Connor was recently selected onto the Team Ireland Under 12 Tennis Squad to play Team GB.

Friends’ School was well represented at the recent District Athletics Championships held at Antrim Forum.
U13 Celtic Badminton Challenge
Friends’ pupils William Rong and Lucy Xu have been selected for the U13 Celtic Challenge 2017, representing Alpha Badminton Club.
Recent Badminton Success
Friends’ pupil Zoe Jefferson recently competed with success in the Irish 4 Nations Para Badminton Championship. Zoe joined the Lisburn 2gether Pan-disability Badminton Club in 2012.
Ulster Schools’ Swimming Cup
In the recent Ulster Schools’ Cup and Championship Swimming Gala, numerous swimmers from all three age groups represented the school in fine form, with personal bests across the board.
Following these personal accomplishments, Friends’ School swimmers went on to achieve outstandingly in the medals table.
