Success for GCSE Moving Image Arts Students!

Three GCSE students have their work screened at an unique film showcase at Queens Film Theatre.

On Thursday the 26th of November, under the supervision of Mr Murray,  Matthew Lewis, Ellie McConnell and Kate McCandless travelled to Queens Film Theatre to attend the CCEA Moving Image Arts Showcase. This unique event celebrates the best student films at GCSE, AS and A2. Work for this event was summited at the end of the summer and it was a great achievement to have three films selected for the showcase, especially as Friends' was the only school in Northern Ireland to have three films up for awards at GCSE level.

Congratulations to all three students on their awards!

Kate McCandless was awarded 2nd place in the category of GCSE Best Film Task Unit 2.

Ellie McConnell was awarded 3rd place in the category of GCSE Best Film Task Unit 1.

Matthew Lewis was awarded 2nd place in the category of GCSE Best Film Task Unit 1.
