Facilities Hire

Friends’ School Lisburn is set in 20 acres of mature, wooded grounds in the heart of the City of Lisburn. There is a legacy trail around the perimeter of the school grounds, and a performance space, the 1774 Pavilion, which can be used for music and drama.

The school boasts an impressive range of onsite facilities, including floodlit astroturf pitches, rugby pitches, cricket pitches, and a sports hall as well as meeting spaces such as our unique assembly hall. Classrooms and other spaces are available for hire upon request.

Friends’ School is also the home of South Antrim Hockey Club.

Sports Facilities

There are two sand-dressed floodlit hockey pitches at the rear of the school, with access to changing facilities.

There are three grass pitches available for rugby and two pitches for cricket at the rear of the school. These can also accommodate a range of other activities.

There is a multi purpose indoor sports hall which accommodates a range of activities

There is a traditional gymnasium space available for a range of activities.

Meeting Facilities

Our Assembly Hall seats 420 people, with access to AV equipment. Perfect for a meeting or performance.

There are a range of classrooms that are available for use outside of term times.

Outdoor Spaces

This is an outdoor performance space with a dedicated external power supply.

This 1500m trail around the perimeter of our 20-acre site offers opportunities for activities, relaxation and reflection. Along the trail, information boards relate the school’s history, tell the story of some of our Old Scholars, and highlight areas of topographical and natural interest.

The trail links to the Preparatory Department’s Guess How Much I Love You Garden, based on the famous picture book by the late Sam McBratney, who is an Old Scholar of Friends’.
