Pupil Service

Our Quaker heritage helps to instil in pupils the importance of making a positive contribution to the community they find themselves in. All pupils are encouraged to consider how they can do this at home, in their local area and in school.

A large number of pupils will have the opportunity to serve the school community in a variety of leadership positions highlighted below:

  • School Council Representative
  • Sports’ Team Captain
  • Lead instrumentalist in music groups
  • Mentor to younger pupils
  • House Captain
  • Prefect Team

In sixth form, pupils will also have the opportunity to join various pupil led committees that run different events for the pupil body in school and encourage the development of key leadership skills and service to others. These include but are not limited to the Charity, Health & Wellbeing, Sixth Form.
